Muselli Runs Into Aces

Level 15 : 1,200/2,500, 2,500 ante

For a stack of around 75,000, Mickael Muselli got it in before the flop and was instantly called for a very specific reason by Ivan Gonzalez Linares.

Mickael Muselli: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Ivan Gonzalez Linares: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Muselli instantly vaulted out of his seat, ready to leave and not believing in a miracle. That wasn't the case anyways on the {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} board as the ace-king was drawing dead on the turn already.

Sala Denied a Knockout

Level 15 : 1,200/2,500, 2,500 ante

One of the alternates, who was enjoying a massage since he got to the table of Adrian Mateos, was all-in with a shorter stack of 21,000 and tabled the {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Corentin Sala looked him up with the {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and remained ahead throughout the {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop and {8-Hearts} turn. The {4-Hearts} river brought a straight on the board and the Red Diamond player was denied the knockout as they settled for a split pot instead.

Badem Among the Biggest Stacks; Diaz Also Flying

Level 15 : 1,200/2,500, 2,500 ante

On the feature table, Hayg Badem raised with the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} and called a three-bet by the button. On the {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop, he check-called a bet to see the {4-Spades} turn on which he check-called for another 25,000.

After the {7-Clubs} river, Badem check-called for 70,000 with 80,000 behind. Badem tank-called after a very long five minutes and his opponent mucked to forfeit the pot.

He then also won the next pot in which Davidi Kitai eventually paid off 12,000 on the {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs} river. Badem tabled pocket nines and Kitai mucked as the next decent pot was shipped to Badem.

Guillaume Diaz has even more chips in the Mandalay Room while fellow Winamax ambassador Francois Pirault was spotted on the way out of the area.

Del Pino Bad Beats Vorobjovas

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Omar Del Pino
Omar Del Pino

The cards of Danielius Vorobjovas were already turned over as the {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} were ahead of Omar Del Pino, who had the {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} exposed.

Both had a piece of it on the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop and the {5-Hearts} turn added a flush draw for the Spaniard. It was no heart but the {q-Spades} river that ended the run of Vorobjovas.

Zhan Zhu Doubles Through Lopez Rodriguez

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With the board showing {q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, Junda Zhan Zhu bet 22,000 and Norberto Lopez Rodriguez then raised to 80,000 on the button. Zhan Zhu went deep in the tank and eventually called all-in for the 55,600 he had behind.

Lopez Rodriguez tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a bluff with the nut flush blocker and Zhan Zhu doubled with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the king-high flush on a paired board.

Del Pino On the Rise

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The usual strategy of total silence when involved in action and non stop chatter in Spanish when not is paying further dividends for Omar Del Pino. In the latest hand he went heads-up against Ivan Dominguez Merino, who check-called one bet on the {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} flop.

After the {5-Spades} turn, he checked once more and Del Pino bet 15,000. Stone cold silence from both players followed and Dominguez Merino eventually mucked his cards to forfeit the pot.
