Back and Forth

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Erik Seidel raised to 80,000 and Dan Colman called. On the {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop, Colman check-called a bet worth 65,000 and the {Q-Diamonds} turn went check, check. The {6-Spades} fell on the river and Colman checked again. Seidel made it 200,000 to go and Colman called with {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}, Seidel mucked.

That pot vaulted Colman back into the lead, but it was only short-lived. Seidel raised to 85,000 two hands later and Colman called again. On the {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, Colman check-called a bet of 75,000 before doing so again for 150,000 on the {J-Diamonds} turn. Neither player was interested in betting the {6-Clubs} river and Colman announced a nine. Seidel turned over his {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for a pair of queens and that won the pot.
