While the tournament carried on, there was a champagne toatsing and welcome remarks by the event organizers and stake holders. Richard Yong, the Founder of Triton, Sylvia Yau, Brand Director of Hublot as well as Laurence Upton, Craig Umstad and Tony Boglic representing the Solaire Resort and Casino welcomed the players to the event.
Winfred Yu, the president of the Poker King Club, also had some words for his opponents and both Yu and Yong then signed up and entered the competition.
