Winner to be Crowned in the 2024 The Hendon Mob Challenge Cape Town Million
The second edition of The Hendon Mob Challenge Cape Town Million sailed past the 210 entries of the previous year and gathered a field of 299 entries, which doubled the guarantee for the ZAR 8,000 ($440) buy-in and pay out ZAR 2,009,280 ($111,193) to all 39 survivors of the three starting days. All those who return to their seats of the GrandWest Casino in Cape Town by Sun International have locked up a payday of ZAR 15,000 ($830) in Africa's Richest Poker Tour during the final stop of the SunBet Poker Tour in 2024.
Leading the way is Marko Nortje, who stormed to a massive stack of 810,000 on Day 1c last night and he is most closely followed by Jaco Mouton (558,000) and Marc Fourie (546,000). Fourth on the leaderboard is Day 1a chip leader Muaaz Gani (425,000).
Other notables in the top ten include Edgar Antezana, Sugen Singh, and Wesley Blom.

Some international contenders have also locked up a cash prize and flag for their The Hendon Mob profile such as Nellie Park (160,000), THM qualifier Florian Bock (139,000), the UK's Max Deveson (134,000), and Maureen Bloechlinger (71,000), The latter has been chasing flags all over the world and secured that one earlier in the series after taking down the Ladies Event.
Bloechlinger will return with a shorter stack of 71,000 and will aim to spin that one up on the live-stream feature table. Cards will be back in the air at noon local time with blinds of 5,000-10,000 and a big blind ante of 10,000. For the final day, the levels will last 40 minutes each and there is a 25-second shot clock in play.
