The Hendon Mob Championship Returns to London After a Five-Year Hiatus
Table Of Contents
The ever-popular Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) returns to the hustle-bustle of London for the first time in five years, and it is going to be a blast. THMC London by Unibet DeepStack Open (USDO) calls Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford home from December 3-8, during which time 15 tournaments and satellite will pack out the vast poker room.
If you can get down to Aspers by 1:00 p.m. GMT on December 3, you could find yourself playing in the THMC Main Event by USDO for free! That's because a freeroll satellite, with £10 rebuys, is running that offers a trio of £280 THMC Main Event seats. Another similar freeroll satellite runs at 1:00 p.m. GMT on December 6.
£10 and £30 satellites run at Aspers throughout the seven-day festival, with online satellites available at Unibet Poker. A €50 satellite runs every Sunday, which awards a £280 entry to the THMC Main Event plus a £180 entry to the Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty event.
The £180 Luxon Pay Mystery Bounty starts on December 4 and finishes a day later. One of the mystery bounty envelopes contains a $4,000 Mediterranean Poker Party package.
More Added Value in the Main Event
The crown jewel of the THMC London USDO festival is the £280 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Main Event. Not only does it come with a £100,000 guarantee on its prize pool, but the eventual champion also receives a package to the 2025 edition of the THMC Cape Two Million package, meaning they'll be jetting off to South Africa next year!
Six THMC London Main Event flights, including a turbo-structured Day 1E and a hyper-turbo Day 1F, are available. Two re-entries per flight are permitted before the end of the 10th 30-minute level, should you dust off your 40,000 starting stack by then!
The last time THMC London ran a Main Event, a field of 357 bought in for £220 and created a £70,686 prize pool. Nicholas Riseley emerged victoriously that time, banking £11,623 after a four-way deal. Expect even larger payouts this time around because the Main Event's guarantee is almost £30,000 more than the 2019 prize pool!

Who Are the 2024 THMC Main Event Champions?
Ten THMC Main Events have crowned champions in 2024, and another two will have by the time the tour heads to London; THMC Bratislava, and THMC Cape Town Million. Elias Travis is the biggest single winner so far thanks to triumphing in The Hendon Mob Mid-Mayor Championship in July. That event cost $600 to enter, was part of the RUNGOOD Poker Series, and saw Travis scoop $79,025.
