With the single blue chip worth 5,000 he had left, Fabien Motte jammed from under the gun. Axel Bayout in the cutoff raised to 100,000 and all the other players folded.
Fabien Motte: 9♠9♣
Axel Bayout: K♦10♦
Motte's hopes of double up disappeared when Bayout hit two pair on 7♥6♣K♠7♠2♥ to send him to the rail.
After Akram Soltane hero called against him, Alexis Rozenblat only had 265,000 left. In the big blind, he found the best hand possible and faced Lionel Foulquier in the small blind.
Alexis Rozenblat: A♦A♣
Lionel Foulquier: 8♦7♥
There was no surprise in this hand as Rozenblat hit a full house on A♠10♦K♦10♠3♥ to double up.
A few hands later, Rozenblat jammed again from the blinds for 580,000 after an open by Arnaud Mattern in the cutoff. Mattern went deep into the tank, and eventually made the call.
Alexis Rozenblat: 8♣8♠
Arnaud Mattern: 4♥4♣
Once again, Rozenblat had the lead and doubled up on 3♥7♠6♥6♦3♠.
Hugues Girard opened from early position, then Ruben Padovani on the button three-bet for almost all his stack. The blinds folded and Girard four-bet all-in. Padovani called, for a total of 560,000.
Ruben Padovani: A♥J♣
Hugues Girard: 10♥10♦
Padovani was hoping for an ace or a jack, but he couldn't find any on 6♠7♠7♦Q♠3♠ and he was eliminated. After he finished 9th last year, Padovani wins €6,250 for his 12th place this year.
