More than just a tournament winner, a new French champion will be crowned today at Pasino Grand in Aix-en-Provence. Out of 553 entrants, only 8 players remain in the €1,000 French Championship Main Event, and they will compete for the title and the top prize of €75,000.

Cecile Ticherfatine opened to 130,000 from the hijack, Alexis Rozenblat called from the button, then Heni Mokni three-bet to 440,000 from the small blind.
