Roussey Builds a Big Stack

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A player opened to 2,600 from middle position, and he was called by Quentin Roussey in the big blind.

On a flop of A56, the middle position player continued for 2,000, but Roussey check-raised to 7,500.

"Wazo" was called to find the 6 turn where he checked. His opponent bet 11,000 and Roussey called.

The 7 completed the board, and Roussey led out for 3,500. The middle position player eventually made the call, but sent his cards into the muck because Roussey had A5 for two pair.

Top Pair for El Yaacoubi

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Samy Boujmala opened to 3,000 from the cutoff and faced both players in the blinds.

The dealer fanned a flop of J10K where Boujmala continued for 1,500. He was called twice again.

All three of them checked the 2 turn, leading to the 7 river where Yannick Lalou in the small blind bet 3,500. El Yaacoubi quickly called with K6 for top pair, while Boujmala folded.

Lalou had J9 for a lower pair so the pot went into El Yaacoubi's direction.
