Leibgorin Bluffs Combier

Michel Leibgorin opened to 900 from middle position. After the button called, Julien Combier in the small blind three-bet to 3,900. Leibgorin quickly called, but the button folded.

Combier continued for 3,200 on the 10♥6♦10♣ flop, then fired a second barrel of 6,300 on the K♥ turn. Leibgorin called, then check-raised the turn to 15,300.

Facing this raise, Combier went deep into the tank, talking to Leibgorin to try to find his hand. "You have a set?" he asked for example.

Combier eventually folded. "Good read", Leibgorin said, revealing 7♣5♣ for a bluff.

Mathias Marza limped from earlier position, then called after Julien Mariani in the hijack raised to 1,900.

Both of them checked the 8♠J♠K♥ flop leading to the 3♣ turn where Mariani bet 2,300. Maria check-called.

The 2♥ river was revealed and Marza led out for 6,000. Mariani went into the tank and called. But his cards went into the muck when Marza flipped over K♠2♠ for two pair.

After the player under the gun opened to 1,500, Axel Gold-Dalg to his left called, but Jean-Paul Zaffran in the next seat three-bet to 4,000. Both the under the gun player and Gold-Dalg called.

Zaffran continued for 4,600 on the J♥3♥5♥ flop. Gold-Dalg check-called while the third player folded, and checked the 4♣ turn. Zaffran quickly checked back.

On the 6♥ river, Gold-Dald led out for 8,000, all his stack. Zaffran looked at his cards and called.

Gold-Dalg tried to take the pot with his pocket pair, but ran into the second nut flush and he was eliminated.

Four-way on a flop of J♥8♣6♥, the button bet 2,100 and he was only called by Rémi De Rossi in the big blind.

The 3♦ turn landed on the felt and after Derossi checked, the button fired a second barrel of 4,500. It took a few seconds for De Rossi to fold.

Luca Delerm opened to 1,200 from under the gun and he was called by Gregory Fournier in middle position and by the big blind.

All three of them checked the 4♣2♣2♠ flop, then the big blind bet 2,200 on the 8♥ turn. Delerm folded, but Fournier raised to 7,800.

The big blind called, and the 9♠ brought no more action. The big blind revealed 3♦2♦ for trips and scooped the pot.

Anthony Mercier raised to 1,200 from middle position and he was called three times: by the 2024 heads-up French Championship winner Nicolas Dumont on the button, by Quentin Roussey in the small blind and by Omar Lakhdari in the big blind.

They all checked all the way through a board of K♣5♣K♠8♦. The 10♦ completed the board and Roussey bet 1,600.

Lakhdari snap-folded, Mercier called and Dumont folded. Roussey showed J♠10♥ for two pair. Mercier flipped over the 10♠ but had a lower kicker as his second card went into the muck.
