Kossew Snatches a River Double
Level 14
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Jedd Kossew was all-in for 127,000 before the flop against Colin Horgan and it was the most classic of flips.
Jedd Kossew: Q♥Q♦
Colin Horgan: A♦K♦
"Ace please," Horgan demanded but got the king instead on the K♥7♠4♥ flop. The 9♥ turn gave a sweat with the flush, but instead, Kossew spiked the Q♣ on the river to double.
Horgan then three-bet Terry Brookes to 40,000 who called. On the K♦10♣5♥ flop, Brookes checked from the hijack, Horgan bet 30,000 on the button and Brookes called. The 9♠ turn came with a check-fold.
Horgan also jammed into Teren Ramnundlall on the Q♥6♣5♣ flop, got the fold and flashed 8♣7♦ to win most chips back from the previous setback.
