Two days ago the flagship tournament of the 2020 PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) has kicked off and the SCOOP-74-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event] attracted a field of 609 entries, of which 40 players remain to battle for one of the most-coveted titles in the world of online poker.

All those in contention have locked up a payday of $26,786.25 thus far but an immediate pay jump to $33,121.68 awaits after the first elimination of the day. The lion's share of the $6,090,000 prize pool remains up for grabs and all eyes are set on a six-figure score and the top prize of $1,062,966.47, however, the penultimate day will just play down to the final table of the last nine for tomorrow's big showdown.

Leading the 40 survivors into the penultimate day is former SCOOP, WCOOP and three-time Sunday Million champion Artem "veeea" Vezhenkov with a stack of 8,785,576, very closely followed by Michael "merla888" Gathy with 8,781,892. Two-time WSOP bracelet winner Michael "imluckbox" Addamo sits in third with 8,085,377 and "Alexgirs" from Belarus is hot on his heels with 7,970,277.

Some big stacks and notables to watch out for include streamer and poker coach Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle (6,666,824), online MTT legend "girafganger7" (6,025,576), Thomas "MarToMchat" Boivin (5,803,834), Daniel "Oxota" Dvoress (5,298,837), Francisco "Tomatee" Benitez (4,419,885), Ignat "0human0" Liviu (3,965,152), Ben "Ben86" Tollerene (3,177,602), former SCOOP Main Event finalists Dinesh "NastyMinder" Alt (2,378,444) and Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker (1,378,915), as well as Max "goodeh99" Silver (2,358,856) and WSOPE Main Event champion Jack "Swaggersorus" Sinclair (1,749,601).

Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi also remains in contention to become the second player to win this very event for the second time but enters Day 3 as the second-shortest stack with 700,902.
