Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker Eliminated in 4th Place ($101,512.88)

Level 26 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

Within just 15 minutes, Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker has went from chip leader to fourth-place finisher. After the previous setback against Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder, he lost another two pots to Andras "probirs" Nemeth to drop below the Hungarian in the counts.

They met again as Muehloecker raised to 254,400 in the cutoff with a stack of just over 4.1 million and Nemeth called. The {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop was check-raised by Nemeth from 157,200 to 375,000 and Muehloecker came along. After the {7-Hearts} turn, Nemeth bet 999,777 and piked up a call by the Austrian.

Nemeth then jammed the {8-Spades} river for 3.275 million and Muehloecker called for 2.55 million. Nemeth turned over {j-Clubs}{10-Spades} for a runner-runner jack-high straight to send Muehloecker with {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} to the rail. The Austrian collects $41,875.00 in bounty prizes and $59,637.88 in cash prizes for a six-figure score.

Mulder Takes Commanding Lead

Level 25 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker limped the small blind and Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder raised it up to 350,000, which Muehloecker called. On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, Muehloecker check-called a bet worth 225,000 and did so again for 888,000 on the {a-Diamonds} turn. They checked the {8-Hearts} river and both showed trips, Muehloecker had {k-Spades}{4-Spades} but Mulder won the pot with {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

Two hands later, Muehloecker raised to 220,000 and was called by Mulder on the button and Andras "probirs" Nemeth in the big blind. Nemeth bet the {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop for 250,800 and was called by Muehloecker, Mulder opted for a raise to 800,000 and Muehloecker was the only caller.

On the {q-Hearts} turn, Muehloecker checked and called a bet worth 1,950,000 to create a massive pot between the two chip leaders. The {k-Spades} on the river completed the board and Muehloecker check-folded to an over-bet which had resulted in him calling all-in.

Break With Four Remaining; Mulder and Muehloecker Lead

Level 25 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker called a min-raise by Andras "probirs" Nemeth and they checked down the {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and the {k-Clubs} turn. After the {5-Spades} river, Nemeth checked again and Muehloecker made it 300,000 to go. Nemeth used his time bank one more time and called when he had fewer than 10 seconds left.

Muehloecker tabled the {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a five-high straight and scooped the pot.

A few small pots followed and the remaining four players then headed into their third 5-minute break of the day. Around nine minutes remain in the current level.

More for Mulder

Level 25 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Thomas "WushuTM" Mulder lost a chunk of his chips when paying off a rivered set of Niklas "Lena900" Astedt and then limped the small blind to face Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder in the big blind. The {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop was checked to Mulder and he made it 140,000 to go, Muehloecker called.

After the {2-Hearts} turn the same action repeated albeit for a higher price of 688,000 and Muehloecker then checked the {q-Hearts} on the river. Mulder emptied the clip with a bet of 2.4 million into 1.9 million and that won the pot uncontested.

Muehloecker Doubles Through Nemeth

Level 25 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Andras "probirs" Nemeth limped the small blind and he then called a raise to 350,000 by Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker in the big blind. The {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop went check, check, and Nemeth then min-bet the {7-Clubs} turn and the {a-Diamonds} river.

Muehloecker called the first bet and raised to 859,000 on the river. Nemeth used a portion of his time bank and moved all-in, which then sent Muehloecker into the think tank with 30 big blinds behind. Muehloecker made the call and was good with {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, as Nemeth only held {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

Nemeth Pulls Further Ahead With Quads; Mulder Closes the Gap

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Niklas "Lena900" Astedt opened the button to 176,000 and was called by Andras "probirs" Nemeth in the small blind. Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker three-bet to 920,000 and Nemeth was the only caller.

After a {a-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, Nemeth checked and called a barrel worth 514,000 by Muehloecker to then check the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. After the {3-Clubs} river, Nemeth used his time bank for all but the last 24 seconds and bet 300,000 to get paid off by the Austrian. Nemeth showed {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} for quads to jump above 11 million in chips.

Muehloecker took another hit without showdown against Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder shortly after to join Astedt as the shorter stack with four remaining.

The two chip leaders evened out in stack sizes at the end of the level when Mulder called a three-bet for 880,000 by Nemeth and called a continuation bet of 607,200 on the {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. The {a-Spades} turn was checked to Mulder and the Dutchman bet 1 million to claim the pot without showdown.

Fireworks Between Mulder and Nemeth

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder and Andras "probirs" Nemeth tangled twice to change the lead back and forth.

First, Mulder opened to 200,000 from the cutoff and faced a three-bet to 800,000 by Nemeth in the small blind. He four-bet to 1,920,000 and Nemeth called but check-folded the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop to a bet of 871,200 by Mulder.

The second hand featured a min-raised pot to the {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop on which Nemeth check-called a bet of 160,000. They checked the {4-Hearts} turn and Nemeth min-bet the {10-Clubs} river. Mulder raised to 720,000 and folded to a shove.

Nemeth three-bet soon after and called the four-bet shove of Thomas "WushuTM" Muehloecker. Nemeth held {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Muehloecker tabled the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}, they chopped it up on a {6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board.

Level 24 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Christian "WATnlos" Rudolph open-shoved the button for nearly 1.4 million chips as the far shortest stack of the remaining five contenders. Chip leader Andras "probirs" Nemeth made the call out of the big blind to trigger the following showdown:
