The next Super Sunday of the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) 2020 provides further opportunities for poker enthusiasts from all over the world to take a shot at becoming the next WCOOP champion. At 1.05 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), WCOOP-48-M: $530 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO, Sunday Slam] will get underway and comes with a guaranteed prize pool of $1,500,000.
More than 360 players are signed up 90 minutes prior to the start and the late registration for this progressive knockout tournament will be available for 4 hours and 45 minutes of play. During that time, up to three re-entries are available to each participant if they should run out of their 100,000 starting stack entirely.
The first level will feature blinds of 250/500 and a running ante of 60, giving all early entries 200 big blinds at their disposal. The PKO format will see $250 go towards the cash prize pool and $250 will be added to the bounty prize pool, of which at least $125 will be awarded for each player eliminated.
Similar to previous Medium events of the 2020 WCOOP, this tournament will play down to a winner on three days and Day 1 will break after 7 hours and 45 minutes. Day 2 then resumes the following day at 1.05 p.m. EST to play down to the final 16 players, who return on Tuesday, September 15th, to determine a champion.
