A Double and More for Mateos

Level 24 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos appears to be a cat with plenty of lives on this final table as he was once again at risk when he became short.

This time the Spaniard got it in with {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} first to act and was called by LeslieGroves" in the big blind with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. Mateos paired up on the {j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} board and doubled.

Mateos then called a raise to 330,000 by "LeslieGroves" in the next hand and called a first barrel for 234,300 on the {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop. On the {j-Spades} turn, "LeslieGroves" then check-folded to a bet of 294,650.

Martirosian Jams Into Mateos

Level 24 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Yet another battle of the blinds emerged between Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos and Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian with the former limping in and the latter raising to 350,000, which Mateos called.

Mateos check-called bets of 187,500 on the {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and 597,000 on the {9-Clubs} turn. Mateos checked the {2-Clubs} river with fewer than 16 blinds behind and folded very reluctantly to the shove of Martirosian.

One hand later, Martirosian then won a pot against Rodrigo "Seijistar" Seiji for 12 blinds total when {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} was the best hand on a {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs} board.

Small Pot for Martirosian

Level 24 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian limped in from the small blind and Rodrigo "Seijistar" Seiji checked his option in the big blind.

On a flop of {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, Martirosian bet 100,000 and was called. The {k-Hearts} followed on the turn and Martirosian now check-called 150,000 to then see the {9-Clubs} river get checked down. Martirosian tabled {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for kings and queens, which earned him the pot.

Mateos Doubles Through Martirosian Again

Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos three-bet jammed into a raise by Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian in the cutoff and a call by Rodrigo "Seijistar" Seiji on the button. Only Martirosian came along and Mateos was in need of help.

Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Mateos spiked his kicker on the {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and remained in contention after the {7-Clubs} turn and {a-Spades} river.

The action folded all the way to "LeslieGroves" in the small blind and they simply moved all in as Brunno "botteonpoker" Botteon in the big blind was down to fewer than 12 blinds. However, Botteon snap-called to create the following showdown.

Brunno "botteonpoker" Botteon: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
"LeslieGroves": {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

The fortune was not on the side of Botteon this time as he fell behind on the {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop. The {3-Clubs} turn and {6-Diamonds} river failed to provide any help as "LeslieGroves" even made a seven-high straight.

Botteon has been eliminated in 5th place which comes with $21,250 in bounty prizes and $44,749 in cash prizes.

Martirosian Doubles Mateos; Gets it All Back

Level 24 : 50,000/100,000, 12,500 ante

Just before the blinds had gone up, Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos raised to 164,000 and then called a three-bet to 416,000 by Artur "mararthur1" Martirosian from one seat over in the cutoff.

Mateos check-called a bet of 250,500 on the {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop and the {7-Clubs} turn was checked. Mateos jammed the {6-Clubs} river for 1,265,842 and Martirosian tank-called with the {a-Spades}{2-Hearts} only to get shown {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} by Mateos.

Two hands later and on higher blinds, Mateos raised to 350,000 in the small blind and Martirosian called. Mateos continued for 500,000 on the {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop and they checked the {2-Diamonds} turn. Mateos bet the {k-Spades} river for 1,350,000 and was called to reveal the {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for top pair, which Martirosian had beat holding {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} for the superior kicker.
