Action was opened under the gun to 2,500. Sabyasach Sen was in late position and called. It folded to the small blind who put in the cold three-bet to 10,000. Under the gun folded and action was back on Sen who snap-called.

The J48 flop hit the felt and the three-bettor led out for 11,000. Sen only took a moment before moving all in having his opponent covered.

The small blind went into the tank for over a minute but eventually found a fold and Sen would drag a healthy pot with no showdown.

PokerNews Podcast: $20K Mistake, Negreanu Beats Polk, NAPT Returns, & Guest Tom Orpaz EPT Barcelona Heater

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

On the latest PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway, Connor Richards, and Matt Hansen catch you up to speed on what's been happening at EPT Barcelona, Daniel Negreanu defeating Doug Polk on High Stakes Duel, and the return of PokerStars' North American Poker Tour (NAPT).

They also delve into the Global Poker US Poker Open (USPO), tell you about the first winner from the the PokerStars Summer Series, cover two big hands involving pocket queens from the past week, and debate arguably the hottest topic of the week — would you pay back $20K after a player grossly misread his hand and called off on the river (which actually happened on Hustler Casino Live)?

As for a guest, Connor and Matt were at EPT Barcelona and caught up with Tom Orpaz, a high-stakes real estate entrepreneur who in his spare time can be found grinding the EPT High Roller circuit. Orpaz, who made headlines in 2020 for purchasing the most expensive apartment in the world, went on a tear at EPT Barcelona that saw him winning €25,000 No-Limit Hold'em and €50,000 Super High Roller Second Chance for two trophies and over $1 million in winnings, proving he can hold his own among the top pros. PokerNews caught up with Orpaz, who has proven to be one of the most entertaining and talkative players on typically reserved High Roller Circuit.

170 players have entered into Day 1b and with the 156 players from Day 1a the guarantee has been broken.

There are still multiple levels left in the day before late registration ends and all of Day 1c left to play. If the turnout for the last flight is anything like last week, this guarantee might get doubled.

Delleani Fires Every Street

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was opened in middle position to 2,500. The small blind called and Anthony Delleani called out of the big blind.

The 569 landed on the flop and Delleani opted to lead out for 3,200 when it checked to him. The original raiser called and the small blind folded.

The 3 landed on the turn and Delleani led again for 3,100. His opponent called.

The 5 landed on the river and Delleani led one more time to the tune of 6,000. His opponent sat in the tank for about 30 seconds and then put in the chips. Delleani tabled Q9 for a pair of nines and his opponent mucked.

Delleani dragged the pot after getting some thin value on all streets.
