In the next hand, Ulrich Pauls limped in first to act and Zarnegar completed from the small blind. Lubas raised to 450,000 in the big blind and Pauls limp-raised to 1,150,000. That forced out Zarnegar, but Lubas stuck around to see the flop of 
. The Pole checked and Pauls bet 1.0 million. After a brief starting contest between the two of them, Lubas folded.
