Rudolf Köster Eliminated in 9th Place (€9,290)

Down to his last 165,000 chips, Day 1a chip leader Rudolf Köster moved all in first to act and Michal Lubas raised to 300,000. Ulrich Pauls gave it brief consideration and folded, as did all other players on the table.

Köster was in need of running cards to a straight or flush in order to remain in contention, but it was all over with the turn to make the river a formality. Köster takes home €9,290 for his efforts and the official eight-handed final table has now been reached.
