Koster Rising

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Rudolf Köster won several pots without showdowns and also scooped a pot against Behzad Zarnegar when showing pocket jacks with a successful continuation bet.

Köster also raised the next button to 66,000 and Ulrich Pauls three-bet to 160,000 from the small blind. "Oh come on," Köster joked and Pauls replied "you can't always steal my small blind." Köster folded and was shown the {J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}.

Zarnegar raised to 80,000 on the button and Marcin Horecki defended the big blind. Both checked the {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop before betting the {4-Spades} turn for 60,000, Zarnegar called. Horecki bet the {Q-Clubs} river for 100,000 and was called to flip over {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for a set as winning hand.

Over on table one, Alaettin Keles made it 75,000 to go from the cutoff and Michal Lubas called from the big blind. On the {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, Lubas check-called a bet of 75,000 before both checked the {K-Spades} turn and {7-Clubs} river. Lubas rolled over {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and that won the pot.
