Daniel Belov: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Frederik Jensen: {A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}

Haneberg and Vardjavand In the Lead

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Andre Haneberg won a bigger pot against Toni Vardjavand when both players ended up checking the river of a board {J-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Haneberg flashed {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} from under the gun, while Vardjavand mucked on the button.

Haneberg defended his big blind the next hand against a raise by Grzegorz Derkowski and check-called a bet of 15,000 on the {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} river. Derkowski showed {K-Clubs}{10-Spades} and Haneberg had that beat with the {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.

Tomovic's Stack Gets Chopped Up

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Aleksandar Tomovic
Aleksandar Tomovic

Short stack Aleksandar Tomovic moved all in for 35,000 from under the gun and Jakob Madsen stole the all in triangle to announce all in himself from two seats over. Michael Schulze on the button asked for the count of Madsen, who replied "I have 132,000" and called all in with the inferior stack to create a three-way showdown.

Aleksandar Tomovic: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Jakob Madsen: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Michael Schulze: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The board of {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts} failed to improve Tomovic and he was eliminated two spots off the money. Going forward, the two tables will now play hand for hand on the money bubble.

Big Double for De Han

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Kim De Han
Kim De Han

Hand 1

In a battle of the blinds there were more than 90,000 in the middle with the turn showing {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{A-Spades}. Michael Schulze bet 70,000 and called the reluctant shove of Kim De Han in the big blind for 96,000 with {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. De han had {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and the {10-Spades} river brought no upset.

Hand 2

Schulze doubled his remaining few chips with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, Frederik Jensen had {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and the board of {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{K-Spades}{6-Hearts} let Schulze double.

Hand 3

Vitaly Karayvan raised to 11,000 and Schulze moved all in for 39,000 in the hijack. De Han called in the cutoff and Karayvan eventually folded.

Michael Schulze: {K-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Kim de Han: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}

Again Schulze was the player at risk in a flip and got there with the board of {K-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}.

Bach Busts to Wendt

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Martin Wendt rised from the hijack and picked up two callers in Florian Bach on the button and Grzegorz Derkowski in the big blind. All players checked the {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and Wendt then bet the {6-Diamonds} turn for 20,000. Bach moved all in and Derkowski folded, while Wendt snap-called.

Florian Bach: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Martin Wendt: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The {10-Diamonds} on the river failed to improve Bach and he was eliminated in 16th place.
