Tupalo Taps Into Aces

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau defended his big blind against a button raise by Pavel Shirshikov. By the time the river had come and showed {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Vaskaboinikau bet 21,000 for one third of his remaining stack. Shirshikov called and mucked when he was shown {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a straight by Vaskaboinikau.

Close to the money the all in spots usually involve a very tight range of hands and it was no surprise to see two premium hands clash one table over. Anton Gilivov was the initial raiser from under the gun and Kostiantyn Tupalo gave him some action. Ultimately it was Tupalo who ended up at risk for more than 100,000 and soon found out that he'd tapped into a cooler.

Anton Gilivov: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Kostiantyn Tupalo: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The board came {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Tupalo was done and dusted.
