Geoffroy Combette was the last casualty, however one table was still running and that would provide an all in showdown with Peyman Luth and Fabrice Soulier at almost even stacks.

Luth had raised to 16,000 and Soulier three-bet to 42,000 from the button. The action folded back to Luth and he moved all in, Soulier called.

Fabrice Soulier: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Peyman Luth: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

On the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, nothing much changed and Soulier even picked up an additional straight draw to his pair. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn was a blank, but the {A-Hearts} on the river let Luth jump out of his chair with a loud "yesss".

Soulier was ready to leave, but the dealer said "you might have more," to which the Frenchman replied with a dry "I know he has more." The stacks were counted and Soulier had 212,000, Luth 219,000 and a mere one big blind more.
