Sanioglu Takes One Down

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Ekrem Sanioglu raised from the button and Javier Gomez Zapatero defended the big blind. The Spaniard check-called a bet worth 50,000 on the {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop before the {6-Spades} turn and {10-Hearts} river were checked through. Sanioglu showed the {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and won the pot.

One hand later, Gomez Zapatero raised to 50,000 in the small blind and Julian Thomas defended the big blind. Gomez Zapatero bet the {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop for 60,000 and that won the pot. The Spaniard also raised the button one hand later for 45,000 and claimed the blinds and antes.

The three short stacks are Thomas, Murad Akhundov and Jimmy Guerrero.
