A "Speeding Ticket" for Silver

Level 3 : 150/300, 50 ante

The board was already complete, showing {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{Q-Spades}, and Max Silver bet 4,500 out of the small blind. Nick Petrangelo in the big blind took a long time to make a decision and used one time bank. With a few seconds left on his minute of extra consideration, he called and Silver showed {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for a failed gutshot.

Petrangelo dragged in the pot with {Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and then gave Silver a little speech about having received a speeding ticket, before adding "I normally have all my time bank, and I never use it on a Day 1." This time it proved to be very useful to take it, as Petrangelo bumped up his stack while Silver remains at the top of the leader board.
