The flop proved no help to Gruissem but the on the turn certainly did. Ramos needed an ace or eight to eliminate Gruissem and spiked the on the river. Gruissem, who won the €25,500 Single-Day High Roller earlier this week, finished 17th for €61,850.

The board came and Yan bricked his flush draw to join the rail in 15th place for €68,720. The next player to bust will receive the same amount before the next pay jump is then on 14th place.
Dario Sammartino raised to 35,000 and Josip Simunic defended the big blind. On the flop, both players checked and Simunic then bet the turn for 52,000. Sammartino called and the river was checked to the Italian, who moved all in. Simunic folded and dropped to the bottom of the counts.

Julian Thomas raised to 40,000 on the button and Felipe Ramos three-bet to 115,000 in the small blind. Thomas called and the flop came . Ramos continued for 75,000 and Thomas folded.
Charlie Carrel raised to 50,000 in the small blind and Dario Sammartino called in the big blind. On the flop, Carrel continued for 40,000 and Sammartino called before Carrel then checked and subsequently check-raised from 75,000 to 200,000. Sammartino let go and dropped to an average stack.
Over on table two, Thomas Muehloecker raised the cutoff and Julian Thomas called in the big blind. Thomas check-called a bet of 32,000 on the flop before the turn was checked. Thomas also checked the river and Muehloecker bet 55,000. After using one time bank card, Thomas called and mucked to the of the Austrian.
Josip Simunic shoved nearly all of his 175,000 stack forward from under the gun. Murad Akhundov reshoved all in from the small blind and covered Simunic barely.
"Hit Mario, hit!" Simunic said, referring to the Super Mario figurine on his stack, before calling the rest off.
