Lepore Takes Big Pot Off Heidorn

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Robert Heidorn raised to 90,000 first to act and Gabriele Lepore defended his big blind to see a flop of {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Both players checked and Lepore bet the {K-Spades} turn for 105,000, which Heidorn called. After the {3-Spades} river, Lepore checked and Heidorn bet 500,000.

Lepore gave it some thought and called to see Heidorn turn over {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a pair of tens. Lepore had that beat with {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and raked in a vital pot to swap positions with Heidorn in the counts.

In the last hand of the outer table, Michal Mrakes raised to 80,000 on the button and Lepore called from the big blind. The flop of {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} was checked through and Lepore check-folded the {7-Hearts} turn to a bet of 140,000.
