Riess Doubles; Chidwick Busts

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

A short-stacked Ryan Riess was all in for 28,000 with the {J-Spades}{10-Spades} and current chip leader Christopher Kruk looked him up with the {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. The board of {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Riess turned a flush to double.

Stephen Chidwick was all in and at risk for 38,000 and Julian Thomas eventually called in the big blind.

Stephen Chidwick: {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Julian Thomas: {K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Both players hit a pair on the {9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, and the {K-Spades} turn gave Thomas the lead. A blank {7-Spades} river failed to improve Chidwick and the Brit was gone. The same table now also features Preben Stokkan.
