Silver Back With his Old Nemesis

Level 5 : 250/500, 75 ante

Out of the 20 players that busted thus far, eight opted to re-enter for the second and final attempt in the tournament. Among them was also Max Silver, who received a very familiar seat assignment that brought him to the very same table he previously busted from.

Omid Mojaverian still has plenty of chips over there and the only new face is Benjamin Pollak, who got into a hand with Silver in a battle button (Silver) versus small blind (Pollak). On the {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} turn, Pollak bet 1,400 and Silver called before the Brit faced a bet of 8,525 on the {3-Clubs} river. Silver let his shot clock run down to one second and folded.

Pollak was visibly relieved and elected to show the {Q-Spades}. The Frenchman also finished second in last night's €5,000 Hyper Turbo Side Event and will aim for another deep run in this three-way High Roller, having finished third in Barcelona back in August earlier this year.
