Fernandez Finds Lucky Double

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Leo Fernandez
Leo Fernandez

Mike McDonald opened under the gun for 11,000 and small blind Le Fernandez pushed for 115,400. The big blind decided to fold but McDonald called.

Mike McDonald: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Leo Fernandez: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

McDonald had the lead but the {A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop was not good for him by any means. The {4-Diamonds} on the turn and {7-Hearts} on the river brought no help to McDonald and he doubled Fernandez.

Eights Not So Great for Timothy Adams

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Timothy Adams raised, how much we're not sure, and Mike Watson three-bet an unknown amount from the button. What we do know is that Adams responded with a four-bet jam and Watson called off for 102,700 total.

Adams: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Watson: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Watson, who is on his second bullet, needed to improve to stay alive, and he did as the {j-Clubs}{3-Spades}{k-Hearts} flop paired his king. Neither the {5-Diamonds} turn nor {9-Hearts} river changed a thing and Watson doubled through Adams.

David Peters on a Roll

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

David Peters raised to 8,000 from early position and was met by a three-bet to 25,000 by Dan Colman on the button. Both blinds folded and Peters called to see the {2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{10-Spades} flop.

Peters check-called a bet of 22,000 and then action went check-check on both the {K-Hearts} turn and {J-Diamonds} river.

Peters tabled the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} and it was good as Colman simply mucked.

Man Down

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Action folded to Timothy Adams in the small blind and he moved in. Big blind Orpen Kisacikoglu had just over 30,000 or so left it seemed, and he snap called.

Orpen Kisacikoglu: {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Timothy Adams: {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{K-Spades} and Kisacikoglu sais his goodbyes.

Kenney Doubles Once More

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Dario Sammartino raised under the gun to (what appeared to be) 10,000. Bryn Kenney, right next to him, moved in for 43,900 and action folded quickly around to Sammartino. The Italian high roller wasted no time calling.

Dario Sammartino: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Bryn Kenney: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Spades} and Kenney doubled again.

Sammartino with the Check-Raise

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

In the last hand of Level 6, Stephen Chidwick raised to 6,000 from the hijack and Koray Aldemir called from the button. Dario Sammartino came along from the big blind and three players saw the {9-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop.

Sammartino checked, Chidwick continued for 8,000, and Aldemir folded. Sammartino then check-raised to 23,000, Chidwick called, and action went check-check on both the {10-Clubs} turn and {4-Clubs} river.

Sammartino showed the {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a failed flop bluff, and Chidwick was pushed the pot thanks to his {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. Despite losing that hand, Sammartino is still up from the last time we checked in on him.

Tollerene Doubles Through Kenney

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Ben Tollerene (hijack) and Bryn Kenney (button) got their chips in the middle before the flop. Tollerene had the advantage with {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} over Kenney's {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. The flop, however, made things iffy for Tollerene: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Tollerene needed to fade hearts to survive and did so with the {K-Diamonds} on the turn and {3-Spades} on the river. Double up for the online high stakes player.
