Seidel Makes Runner Runner To Cripple Colman

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel opened the hijack for 18,000 and small blind Dan Colman and big blind David Peters called. The two blinds checked to Seidel on {9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} and he bet 27,000. Colman check-raised to 75,000 and Peters was quick to fold. Seidel shoved for 223,000 total and Colman snap called.

Erik Seidel: {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Dan Colman: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Seidel was trailing and needed runner-runner to stay alive. He got exactly that as the turn {10-Hearts} and river {K-Clubs} filled him up to a better full house and Colman was left with just 23,000.

Dario Sammartino Shoves the River

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

With around 100,000 in the pot and a board reading {9-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, Timothy Adams checked from the small blind and then called when Dario Sammartino bet 49,000 from the big.

When the {J-Spades} completed the board on the river, Adams checked again and Sammartino moved all in for 145,000. Adams hit the tank for a good while, which wound up costing him two time bank chips, before eventually folding.

Mike Watson Eliminated

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We got just the tail end of a big hand between Mike Watson and David Peters, but the latter was kind enough to fill us in afterward on what had happened.

Watson opened the pot with a raise and David Peters right next to him was the only caller. Both of them checked on {J-Clubs}{6-Spades}{A-Spades} and the {9-Hearts} hit the turn. Watson checked again and called Peters' bet of 26,000.

The river {Q-Spades} saw Watson check for the third time. Peters shoved for about 130,000 effectively into a pot of around 150,000.

Watson called but mucked his {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} as Peters showed {J-Spades}{K-Clubs}.

Mike Watson Shoves, Koray Aldemir Calls

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Mike Watson moved all in for his last 87,000 from the cutoff and Koray Aldemir isolated by moving all in over the top from the small blind.

Watson: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Aldemir: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop gave Aldemir a set, but it also provided Watson an open-ended straight draw. The {2-Hearts} turn was of no consequence, but the {9-Diamonds} river was as Watson spiked one of his outs to crack the set.

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Byron Kaverman
Byron Kaverman

From middle position, Byron Kaverman opened to 18,000. Oliver Weis three-bet to what appeared to be 52,000. Action folded back around to Kaverman and he four-bet to 118,000. Weis shoved for 353,000 total and Kaverman called all in for about 340,000.

Byron Kaverman: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Oliver Weis: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {J-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Kaverman was heading for the exit.

Paul Newey is a Hard Man to Flush

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Just before the level went up, David Peters raised to 14,000 from the hijack and Erik Seidel called from the button. Paul Newey then three-bet all in for 37,000, Peters isolated by moving all in over the top, and Seidel got out of the way.

Newey: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Peters: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

It was a flip, and Newey held strong on the {3-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. The {2-Diamonds} turn gave Peters a flush draw, but he missed it after the {10-Spades} bricked on the river.
