Peters Takes from Dvoress

Level 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

In a hand that started rather innocent with a raise to 45,000 by David Peters and a call by Daniel Dvoress out of the big blind, a big pot would eventually emerge. On the {Q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, Dvoress check-called a bet worth 45,000 before checking again the {6-Spades} turn.

Peters fired a second barrel worth 130,000 and Dvoress called, then quickly checked the {7-Clubs} on the river. Now Peters made it 220,000 to go and the shot clock ran down for Dvoress. With a few seconds left, he tossed in a single chip and Peters turned over {4-Spades}{3-Spades} for a flush to boost his stack well above one million.
