The PokerStars Championship's predecessor, the European Poker Tour only crowned one two-time champion in Victoria Coren Mitchell, but Italy's Raffaele Sorrentino might might do so in the very first season of the PokerStars Championship. A maximum of six levels of 90 minutes or until the final six are set will be played, whichever of the two comes first. The tournament resumes at noon local time with blinds at 25,000/50,000 (5,000 ante).
