Bansner Chips Up in Family Pots

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Benjamin Benoit raised to 400,000 on the button with {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and was called by Timur Caglan in the small blind with {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, Holger Bansner defended the big blind with {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. The flop of {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} was checked thrrough and Bansner bet the {6-Spades} turn for 500,000, which Benoit called and Caglan folded.

The {10-Clubs} river was checked and Bansner won the pot.

Another family pot emerged soon after and Caglan bet the {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{A-Hearts} turn for 425,000 with {Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Bansner called with [10j8h], as did Benoit with {8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} in the big blind. Bansner completed his flush with the {4-Hearts} on the river. The shove of Bansner forced two folds and he claimed the pot uncontested, jumping into the top spot that he already held at the start of the day.
