Among Spanish players and Pokercode community fans from Germany and Austria, one big name just arrived.
Super High Roller player Rainer Kempe took his seat close to Sebastian Schulze. After losing some small pots, he finally won one.
The under-the-gun player limped and Kempe just called from the hijack while the big blind checked.
On the flop 3♣8♣A♣, all players checked.
On the turn 10♠, the first limper decided to bet 2,000, his opponents both called.
On the river 5♦, both the big blind and under-the-gun players checked and Kempe thought for a while before checking back.
With 10♦8♦, Kempe showed the winning hand to come back to around 40,000 chips.

PokerNews caught some action in a three-bet pot. Nico Pohl, in the big blind, squeezed to 7,000 after an early open and several calls.
Only the initial raiser called and the flop came Q♠J♦J♥. Pohl continuation-bet to 3,000 and got a call.
On the turn Q♦, both players checked.
On the river 3♥, the opening raiser bet 10,500 and Pohl thought for a while before calling with A♠A♥.
His opponent mucked and Pohl became the first chip leader of the tournament.

Following a successful event in Bratislava in September 2021, Pokercode is back live but this time in Spain, at Gran Via casino in the city center of Madrid.
