Takashi Ogura limped in with the A5 and Gary Thompson checked his option with the A9 out of the big blind. The A85 flop gave Ogura top and bottom pair for the Japanese to bet 350,000, earning a call from Thompson.

Following the 4 turn, Ogura bet another 900,000 and Thompson now pondered about his decision for a while to come along.

Fast forward to the 7 river, Ogura gave it a couple of seconds to prepare the third bet worth 1,100,000 and was paid off rather swiftly to cement his lead in three-handed play.
