Ryan McAllister got through with a shove out of the small blind holding the A♦Q♥ and up next, William Teoh opened to 100,000 with the K♥Q♠. No call followed and the pot was awarded to Teoh.
Terry Gonzaga then made it 110,000 to go with the 10♥9♥ from an early position for Valeriy Pak to just flat-call on the button with A♠A♦. Gonzaga had a piece of the K♠9♦2♦ flop and bet 100,000, Pak then jammed for 490,000.
That sent the local hero into the tank and he eventually folded as the first 15-minute break of the day kicked off.
