Jamil Wakil
Jamil Wakil

Jamil Wakil opened to 120,000 from the cutoff with {a-Spades}{7-Spades}. Michel Dattani called from the button with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Both players connected on the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop but Dattani had the best of it with his set. Wakil check-called for 130,000 which brought in the {4-Clubs} turn. This time, Wakil check-called for 450,000.

On the {j-Clubs} river, Wakil checked for a third time and Dattani jammed as the big stack. Wakil, who had 1,610,000 behind, ended up letting his hand go after using up a time bank.

Last Pot Before Dinner to Raymond

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Artur Martirosian made it 140,000 to go on the button with the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. Alexandros Kolonias in the small blind let go of the {k-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Alexandre Raymond quickly called out of the big blind with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.

The {j-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop gave Raymond a flushdraw, which he opted to check. Martirosian checked it back to the {8-Diamonds} turn and Raymond bet 135,000. The raise to 350,000 by Martirosian followed and Raymond stuck around to the {3-Spades} river.

This time, both players checked as Martirosian gave up the pot as Raymond won the final hand prior to the 75-minute dinner break.

Broadway for Neves

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Pedro Neves made it 160,000 to go from the cutoff with {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Artur Martirosian called from the small blind with his {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

It was an action flop as Martirosian had top pair while Neves made Broadway on the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop. Martirosian check-called for 120,000.

On the {7-Spades} turn, Martirosian checked, and Neves, who recently triple-barrel bluffed the Russian, sized up to 480,000 and was called.

The {2-Clubs} river was a brick and Martirosian checked for a third time. Neves made it 1,300,000 and Martirosian made the fold.
