Brewer Wins Three Pots in Quick Succession

Level 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Chris Brewer
Chris Brewer

On the tail end of a heads-up duel between Laszlo Bujtas and Chris Brewer, the latter had a bet of 100,000 paid off on the {10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts} when his {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} for aces and fours were the best hand.

Brewer then opened to 25,000 from under the gun and Giuseppe Iadisernia called out of the big blind. The {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop was checked by Iadisernia and he folded to a bet. "I keep getting good hands," Brewer shrugged and exposed his cards to the table neighbour before the rest of the table was shown the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

Last but not least, a battle of the blinds between Iadisernia and Brewer emerged. With some 100,000 in the middle to the {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, Iadisernia checked and Brewer bet 30,000. Iadisernia then check-raised to 120,000 only for Brewer to jam and force a fold.
