Shahi Receives His Marching Orders
With plenty of chips in the middle to the turn, Nicholas Marchington check-jammed into a bet worth 12,000 by Arash Shahi and the latter grabbed his phone after he called it off with both players holding near identical stacks.
Shahi inquired of the dealer whether or not he was allowed the showdown and then started his commentary.

Only a four or five would knock out Shahi and that's what happened with the river as he suddenly fell silent for a few seconds, trying to regain his composure all the while the recording was still happening. Both stacks were counted and the 27,300 of Marchington covered to knock out Shahi in cruel fashion.
It looks like karma didn't work for Shahi even though he paid back Daniel Negreanu a four-year "debt" last summer.
