Mateos Jams Into Pollak

Level 5 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

First to act, Adrian Mateos opened the action with a raise to 6,000 and Benjamin Pollak came along from one seat over, as did Sean Winter in the big blind. The {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop was checked to Mateos and he bet 6,500, Pollak called and Winter got out of the way.

After the {5-Diamonds} turn, Mateos slowed down and checked to Pollak, who bet 24,500 and picked up a call.

Mateos also checked the {5-Diamonds} on the river and faced a bet worth 42,000 by Pollak. What followed was the check-shove of the Spaniard, which prompted Pollak to ask for a count. The all in was for 197,500, which represented a big portion of Pollak's stack. No call followed and the pot was shipped over to Mateos.
