Kurganov Folds to Adams

Level 17 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Timothy Adams raised to 80,000 from the early position and was called by Igor Kurganov in the big blind.

They both checked through the {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} on the flop to the {q-Hearts} on the turn. Kurganov bet 150,000 and Adams called.

The river completed the board with the {8-Spades}, Kurganov used a time bank card before betting 225,000. Now it was Adams' turn to consider his options carefully. After using two time bank cards, Adams decided to raise to 650,000. Kurganov confirmed the amount, tanked and then decided to fold after handing two time bank cards over to the dealer.

Shakerchi Left Short After Doubling Adams

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Talal Shakerchi shoved from the button and Timothy Adams was sitting in the small blind. Adams asked for a count and the dealer confirmed Shakerchi had 650,000 behind and Adams covered. Adams also shoved for 575,000 in total. Justin Bonomo quickly folded his big blind.

Timothy Adams: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Talal Shakerchi: {Q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The flop came {3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for Shakerchi to pick up the gutshot to the straight draw.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} which didn't change anything and neither did the {7-Spades} on the river so Adams would double up, leaving Shakerchi behind with 2.5 big blinds.
