Talal Shakerchi shoved from the early position for around 170,000 and so did Alex Foxen on the button for 210,000 in total. Stephen Chidwick put in his stack of 100,000-value chips in from the small blind to also put Matthias Eibinger at risk in the big blind. Eibinger asked what would happen if Chidwick would eliminate all three of them and the floor confirmed that Eibinger would finish in 5th place for the min-cash as he had the biggest stack of everyone at risk.
Eibinger tanked, using all six of his time bank cards, and then decided to make the call for the 610,000 he had behind.
Talal Shakerchi:
Alex Foxen:
Matthias Eibinger:
Stephen Chidwick:
The board ran out for Foxen to turn a set to eliminate Shakerchi in 7th place and get fully paid by Chidwick and Eibinger for the 210,000 he had. Chidwick would lay claim to the remaining 400,000 of Eibinger's stack as Eibinger was eliminated in 6th place as the bubble.
The five remaining players are now in the money and guaranteed at least $121,040.
