Stemmler Eliminates Day in Two Hands

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The action folded around to Michael Farrow on the button who raised to 4,300. Both Jason Stemmler in the small blind and Christopher Day in the big blind called to see the flop fall {7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

Both of the blinds checked and Farrow continued for 5,600. Stemmler called and Day check-raised to 19,000. Farrow quickly got rid of his cards but Stemmler stuck around to see the {9-Hearts} on the turn.

Stemmler checked again and Day fired another 16,000, which Stemmler called. The river brought the {a-Diamonds} and both players checked. Stemmler tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a rivered pair of aces and Day flashed the {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts} before mucking.

In the very next hand, the action folded to Stemmler on the button who raised to 4,000. Day pushed all in for his last 27,500 from the small blind and Stemmler called. It was a race situation with Stemmler holding {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Day with {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Day was unable to connect with the board. In just two hands, Day was eliminated and sent all of his chips to Stemmler.

Mateos Loses Some

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

There were about 10,400 chips already in the middle and the board read {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} when we got to the table. Adrian Mateos checked from the big blind and his lone opponent, the player in the hijack, checked behind.

The turn brought the {A-Spades}, Mateos bet 4,200, and his opponent called.

The {Q-Hearts} fell on the river and Mateos bet again, 6,300 this time. His opponent called and tabled {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}. Mateos flashed {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} before he tossed his hand into the muck and the dealer pushed the pot to his opponent.

Kenney Sent to the Rail

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

Bryn Kenney opened on the button with a raise to 4,500. From the small blind, Oleg Titov reraised, making it 12,000 from the small blind. Action fold back to Kenney who shoved for just a bit over 40,000. Titov called and their hands were turned up.

Kenney: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Titov: {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The flop came down {K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and that put Kenney in a deep hole. The {4-Diamonds} on the turn sealed it and Kenney was left drawing dead. The river was the {A-Hearts} but it didn't matter and Kenney was sent to the rail as Titov moved to nearly 250,000 chips.

Greenwood Sends One Home

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Lucas Greenwood
Lucas Greenwood

Luc Greenwood was under the gun and got all the chips in the middle before the flop against the player in the small blind. Greenwood had the larger of the two stacks by a wide margin.

Greenwood: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Small blind: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Greenwood had the preflop advantage with the bigger pocket pair and extended his lead further when the flop came {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}, leaving his opponent in rough shape. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn and {2-Clubs} on the river secured the pot for Greenwood, giving him the winning full house, so he took the chips to send his opponent to the rail.

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Liv Boeree raised to 4,500 on the button and was three-bet to 15,500 by the big blind. Boeree called to see the flop fall {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}.

The big blind checked to Boeree who made a bet of 15,000. Her opponent check-raised all in for around 62,000 and Boeree quickly mucked her cards.

Keith Lehr Turns Quads to Eliminate Boris Kolev

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Catching up to the action on the turn with the board showing {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}. Action was on Keith Lehr and with roughly 60,000 already in the pot, he puts out a bet of 21,000. Action moves over to Kolev and he moves all in. Lehr snap calls.

Lehr: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Kolev: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}

Kolev had flopped a straight but Lehr turned Kolev stone dead when the {Q-Clubs} came on the turn, giving him quads. The river was a meaningless {10-Clubs} and that would do it. The monster pot was sent Lehr's way and that gave him right around 230,000 chips while Kolev was sent to the rail.

Badziakouski Plays His Aces Slowly

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The action folded around to the cutoff who raised it up to 4,800. Mikita Badziakouski three-bet to 15,100 on the button and the blinds both folded. The cutoff thought for a moment before moving in a four-bet to 31,000. Badziakouski just called and the flop came {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

Both players checked and the {4-Spades} landed on the turn. Two more checks and the {4-Hearts} double-paired the board on the river. The cutoff announced a bet of 28,000 and Badziakouski instantly tossed in a single chip to call. His opponent rolled over {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for two pair, but Badziakouski tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for a bigger two pair.

Back To the Circuit For Hawkins

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

There were about 12,000 chips already in the middle and the board read {5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} when we got to the table. Maria Lampropulos bet 5,000 from under the gun into her lone opponent, Maurice Hawkins, who was next to act. Hawkins raised to 10,500 and Lampropulos called.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and Lampropulos checked. Hawkins shoved for 2,300 and Lampropulos quickly called.

Hawkins: {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Lampropulos: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Hawkins found himself trailing with the worse of the two pocket pairs and needed to spike a three in order to stay alive. The {10-Clubs} on the river changed nothing, so Lampropulos took the pot to send Hawkins to the rail.
