Hands #10-15: Last Hands of Level 28

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand 10: We missed the hand due to a graphic on the stream.

Hand 11: Shawn Buchanan limped the button with the {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and folded when Daniel Coupal moved all in for 965,000 from the big blind with the {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Hand 12: Maria Lampropulos raised to 170,000 with the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} under the gun and Shawn Buchanan called from the cutoff with the {6-Spades}{5-Spades}. The rest of the field folded and it was heads-up action to the {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop.

Lampropulos bet 150,000 and Buchanan called to see the {8-Diamonds} turn. Lampropulos checked, Buchanan bet 425,000, and Lampropulos folded.

Hand 13: Lampropulos received a walk in the big blind.

Hand 14: Koray Aldemir looked down at the {a-Spades}{6-Hearts} on the button and raised to 170,000 and he took down the pot.

Hand 15: In the last hand of the level, Buchanan limped with the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Adrian Mateos exercised his option from the big with the {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Buchanan called and the two saw a flop of {2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{a-Spades}. Buchanan checked, Mateos bet 175,000, and Buchanan folded.

Hands #7-9: Buchanan Takes a Huge Lead as Lampropulos' Queen-High Call Fails

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand 7: Adrian Mateos opened with the {a-Clubs}{6-Spades} from the cutoff and Koray Aldemir three-bet jammed with the {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, winning the pot.

Hand 8: Aldemir limped with the {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} from the small blind and Maria Lampropulos checked with the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}. The flop came down {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Aldemir bet 80,000 getting a call from Lampropulos.

The {5-Hearts} landed on the turn and both players checked to see the {2-Hearts} on the river. Lampropulos bet 250,000 and Aldemir released.

Hand 9: Lampropulos opened with {q-Clubs}{3-Spades} in the small blind and Buchanan defended with the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. The flop came {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Lampropulos bet 230,000, and Buchanan called.

The {7-Clubs} fell on the turn, Lampropulos checked and Buchanan bet 375,000. After a few moments in the tank, the clock was called and Lampropulos eventually called. The {4-Clubs} completed the board on the river and Lampropulos checked. Buchanan bet 1,100,000 and after several more minutes in the tank, Buchanan finally called the clock.

Lampropulos would eventually make the call and mucked when Buchanan tabled his full house.

Christian Rudolph Eliminated in 6th Place ($229,760)

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Christian Rudolph (left) - 6th Place
Christian Rudolph (left) - 6th Place

Hand 6: Maria Lampropulos raised to 170,000 UTG+1 and Christian Rudolph three-bet all in for 805,000 from the big blind. Lampropulos called and it was off to the races.

Christian Rudolph: {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Maria Lampropulos: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The {6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop gave Lampropulos a set, and Rudolph needed to catch runner-runner to survive. The {Q-Clubs} took away any chance of that happening, and he was drawing dead heading to the river, which was the meaningless {7-Diamonds}.

Hand 4: Aldemir opened with the {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to 170,000 from the cutoff and Lampropulos called on the button with {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. Adrian Mateos defended his big blind with the {a-Spades}{5-Clubs} and a {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{a-Clubs} flop was delivered.
