Hands #41-46: Koray Aldemir Doubles Through Shawn Buchanan

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Hand 41: Koray Aldemir raised to 200,000 on the button with the {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Shawn Buchanan called from the big blind with the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop saw Buchanan check top pair and Aldemir continuation-bet 140,000.

Buchanan called and then checked the {7-Spades} turn. Aldemir checked behind and the {4-Spades} completed the board on the river. Buchanan bet 325,000 and Aldemir called trying to catch a bluff. With that, Buchanan took down the 1.41 million pot.

Hand 42: Maria Lampropulos held the {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} on the button and she just called. Buchanan did the same with the {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs} in the small blind and Aldemir checked his option from the big with the {9-Spades}{2-Spades}. All three players saw the {q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop and they all checked.

The {3-Spades} turn saw Buchanan bet 175,000 with his open-ended straight draw, Aldemir folded, and Lampropulos called with her pair of queens. The {3-Hearts} river was no help to Buchanan and he gave up by checking. Lampropulos checked behind and won the pot.

Hand 43: Buchanan raised the button to 200,000 with the {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Lampropulos three-bet to 750,000 from the big blind with the {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Buchanan folded.

Hand 44: Buchanan received a walk in the big blind.

Hand 45: Buchanan limped the small blind with the {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Aldemir checked his option with the {4-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Both players checked the {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop and the {8-Hearts} paired the board on the turn. Buchanan checked, Aldemir bet 155,000, and Buchanan folded.

Hand 46: Buchanan raised the button to 200,000 with the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Aldemir three-bet all in for 2.675 million with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} in the small blind. It was a race, but Aldemir needed to improve to stay alive.

He managed to do it on the {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop, and his hand held through the {2-Spades} turn and {J-Diamonds} river.

Hand 31: Shawn Buchanan peeled the {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and opened under the gun. Adrian Mateos looked down at the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and three-bet to 600,000 on the button. Buchanan called and a {6-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop was issued.

Buchanan checked and Mateos bet 700,000. Buchanan raised to 1,800,000, Mateos three-bet jammed all in for 3,395,000 and Buchanan called.
