Ronan Sweeney Doubles Up

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Ronan Sweeney opened with {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Ciaran Gillmartin moved all in holding {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

Sweeney weighed the decision for a moment or two before he called.

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and the pair of jacks on the flop held for Sweeney to give him a double up right before the dinner break.

Ace-Jack Good for Wang

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Yue Wang
Yue Wang

Yue Wang opened for 255,000 with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} from early position. Alan Kelleher called {A-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} from mid-position and the rest of the table folded.

Wang flopped top pair on the {5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop and both players checked. Wang checked again when the {3-Clubs} appeared on the turn and then called a bet of 450,000 from Kelleher. Both players checked the river and the dealer shoved over a pile of chips to Wang.

Kelleher Doubles Off Dowling With Aces

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Alan Kelleher
Alan Kelleher

Pat Dowling just won a hand off of Alan Kelleher and shortly after the favor was returned.

Dowling opened to 260,000 from early position and the action folded around to Kelleher in the small blind. Kelleher three-bet to 660,000 and Dowling called.

Dowling with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flopped top pair on the {4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop, however, Kelleher was in better shape with an overpair with {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. Dowling bet 400,000 and for 600,000 more after Kelleher declared himself all in for 1 million.

Kelleher's hand held after the {3-Hearts} on the turn and the {6-Clubs} on the river were of no help to Dowling.
