Stalling Near a Pay Jump

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Three tables have had players raise for most of their stack and one of them got it in ace-king versus ace-king to chop. The other short stack doubled and Kacper Pyzara raised to 130,000 with 10,000 behind. Tamer Ustaoglu called that and Pyzara was clocked on every street to check behind the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} board.

Ustaoglu showed {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Pypara was left with crumbs as his {a-Spades}{6-Spades} didn't get there.

Semaska Flops a Straight

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Feature Table

[Removed:464] raised to 110,000 from the cutoff with the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and the action folded to Hadi Khadra in the big blind who picked up the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. He decided to make the call.

The flop came {6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for Semaska to hit a straight immediately. Khadra opted to check and Semaska did the same.

The turn was the {2-Spades} to not change things and Khadra grabbed some chips and bet 300,000. Semaska took some time before opting to call.

The river completed the board with the {a-Spades} for Khadra to hit top pair but keep Semaska ahead. Khadra checked for the final time and Semaska considered his options for a while. In the end, he fired a bet of 700,000 over the line.

Khadra checked his hand again before counting out a call and checking the remainder of his stack. He tanked for a long time before opting to let the hand go.
