Aces for Phua and Machon

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Paul Phua raised to 2,200 with the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} and Jack Sinclair called with {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}, Philipp Gruissem filled up with the {8-Spades}{6-Clubs} in the big blind. The flop fell {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and it was Phua that continued for 4,500 to pick up one caller in Sinclair.

After the {K-Clubs} turn, both players checked and the {7-Spades} came on the river, which brought no change to see Phua rake in the pot.

The cameras cut back to the action of the other feature table. Manig Loeser had raised to 2,400 with the {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Bartlomiej Machon called with the {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}. They checked the {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop and Machon check-called a bet on 3,800 on the {J-Hearts} turn.

Machon also checked the {7-Diamonds} river to see Loeser move all in

Leow Back on Track

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On the river of a board {K-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades}, Ivan Leow overbet for 26,000 and was called by Koray Aldemir. Leow turned over the {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a straight and essentially doubled, as he had kept just very few chips behind.

Soon after, he raised and called a three-bet by Shyngis Satubayev. Leow check-shoved a {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop and Satubayev called with {A-}{Q-}. Leow had plenty of outs with the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts} and got there with the {10-Hearts} turn and {2-Clubs} river run out to double for 61,000.
