Solovyev Departs; Uspenskii and Galitskiy Among Chip Leaders
Andrey Chernokoz lost a massive pot to Konstantin Uspenskii and was left with a mere four or five big blinds, and those remaining few chips vanished soon after. The same table features another big stack in Mikhail Galitskiy, and both may very well end up as the chip leader after Day 3.
Uspenskii raised to 700,000 in middle position and Chernokoz defended the big blind, then check-called bets of 600,000 on the flop, 2.0 million on the turn and 5.5 million on the river. Uspenskii showed the for rivered trips and dragged in the massive pot.
Just prior to Chernokoz, it was Vladislav Solovyev that also ran out of chips. Aleksandr Levashov opened to 600,000 and called the button shove of Solovyev for 3.6 million.
Vladislav Solovyev:
Aleksandr Levashov:
The board came and that was it for Solovyev.
