Another Double Up for Kruk

Level 13 : 35,000/70,000, 70,000 ante

On a flop of {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, there was already a bet of 230,000 and a call from Benoit Galland on the button. Christopher Kruk check-raised all in to 1,700,000 from the big blind and the action was back on Galland. He thought for a moment and then made the call, putting Kruk at risk.

Galland flipped over {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for two overcards and a flush draw while Kruk held {6-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a pair and straight draw. The turn brought the {10-Diamonds} giving Galland the lead with a pair of tens, but the {2-Clubs} on the river gave Kruk a straight. Another full double up and Kruk is up to nearly four million chips now.

Meanwhile, David Eldridge has had a hot start to Day 2, as he currently holds the chip lead with almost 10,000,000 chips.

Kruk Doubles Through Jiang

Level 13 : 35,000/70,000, 70,000 ante
Christopher Kruk
Christopher Kruk

Yuan Jiang raised to 140,000 on the button. Christopher Kruk three-bet all in to 960,000 and the action got back to Jiang who called. The players rolled over their hands.

Christopher Kruk: {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Yuan Jiang: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The board came down an all diamond flop of {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Kruk still had the lead with a pair of sixes. The {7-Hearts} on the turn and the {5-Clubs} on the river changed nothing as Kruk took down the pot.

Farrell Unable to Spin It Up

Level 13 : 35,000/70,000, 70,000 ante

Not long after the day began, Niall Farrell started joking around about chopping the prizepool with the remaining 25 players. He was on the short stack and it didn't take long for his chips to get in the middle. Farrell shoved all in for around 700,000 on the button and was called by Michael Del Vecchio in the small blind.

Michael Del Vecchio: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Niall Farrell: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Farrell starter cheering for a straight. The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} giving him a two-way straight draw but the {10-Diamonds} on the river left him hanging with just seven-high. Farrell headed for the exit while Del Vecchio stacked his chips.

Charania is the First Elimination of the Day

Level 13 : 35,000/70,000, 70,000 ante

The action folded to Mohsin Charania in the cutoff who shoved all in for his last 635,000. Sam Chartier was in the big blind and made the call, finding himself in a great position against Charania.

Sam Chartier: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Mohsin Charania: {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Chartier hit a pair of kings leaving Charania drawing slim. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and it was all over for Charania as the {7-Hearts} completed the board.
