Becker Jams Into Fast
After losing a pot to Steve O'Dwyer, Johannes Becker bounced back and got most of the chips back from Dietrich Fast. The latter raised to 170,000 and Becker defended the big blind. On the flop, Becker checked and called a bet of 175,000. The appeared on the turn and Becker checked once more, Fast bet 750,000 and faced the check-shove of Becker for what appeared to be 1.75 million. Fast folded and Becker dragged in the pot with an "ahaaa."
Manig Loeser raised to 180,000 and Renato Nowak called in the big blind. The was checked by Nowak and he then called a bet of 150,000 by Loeser before check-folding the turn to a second barrel worth 350,000.
Dominik Nitsche made it 180,000 to go on the button and Nowak in the small blind as well as Orpen Kisacikoglu in the big blind came along. There was no betting action on the flop, while Kisacikoglu then bet the turn for 300,000. Nitsche called and Nowak folded. The river triggered a check from Kisacikoplu and Nitsche avoided a showdown by betting 800,000 and forcing a fold.
